Greater Bushenyi police are holding four people thought to have had a hand in the murder of Tananzio Bantariza, 65, a resident of Nyungu I village, Kahungye parish, Nyabubare sub-county in Bushenyi District. The incident in which the suspects are being held is said to have happened January 29, 2020.
Earlier, the deceased was seen at his daughters bar only to be found dead the next morning.
His neck had a deep cut, investigators say, adding, the body was retrieved from a tea plantation 50 meters away from the bar he was the previous night.
By press time, the body was at KIU teaching hospital for postmortem.
The police say the matter is being probed Vide CRB 115/2020.
