BWINDI: German tourist, wife cheat death in road accident

German national, Christaino Gaido, 57, and wife must be counting their luck after cheating death in a serious accident at River Ishasha while heading to Bwindi for Gorilla tracking.

Gaido was driving a Toyota double cabin registration number UBE 809S when he lost control and overturned at the bridge on February 2, 2020.

They survived with injuries.

By press time, they had been discharged from Bwindi Hospital where they had been rushed for first aid.

The matter was registered at Kanungu Vide TAR 04/2020/serious accident.
