The police have confirmed, the force will take care of burial expenses in the murder of Dan Kyeyune, a son to Police Constable, David Kabuye, an officer attached to Kasubi Police Station.
Kyeyune was shot dead by unknown person last evening in a scuffle to disperse People Power supporters as Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine returned from an Hoima Road burial.
“The police has taken care of the burial expenses,” part of the statement issued by Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman, Patrick Onyango reads, investigations into the killing is on-going.
“He (IGP) further instructed the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to thoroughly investigate the shooting incident,” Onyango said.
3 spent cartridges, a stone and one left sandal are some of the materials retrieved from the scene of crime.
