COVID-19: South Sudanese from India via Dubai, Entebbe arrested at Elegu Border

Early Tuesday morning, the police at Elegu border intercepted two South Sudanese nationals enroute Juba, South Sudan.

They are; Adok Agang Agoth, 39, an older of passport number ROO44674 and Wol Anyu, 28, of passport No ROO395163.

Also in custody, is an airport taxi drivers named Bazil Bukenya, 40 and Jonathan Ssevume, 35; drivers of a car registration number UAW 635R.

According to their travel documents, the pair came from India via Dubai to Entebbe International Airport.

At the time of their arrest, they had just been dropped by the taxi.

They were to settle at Damascus Hotel, Adjumani Road.

However, acting on suspicion, locals alerted the police who swung into action, picking them and drivers for isolation.

The now await screenings and tests.
