The police at the Central Police Station, Bududa is holding Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) David Agaba Tumwine for an unlawful wounding.
This, after Saturday incident in which he shot at Desmond Kuloba, 28, a resident of Buneembe Village, Buneembe Parish in Bududa sub-county.
Well-placed sources say Agaba was commanding an operation when his team bumped into a group of people enjoying local brew (Malwa).
They, however, fled in fear of arrest.
It is then that Agaba ‘released’ two bullets, tapping Kuloba above his knee.
He is reported to be in stable condition at Mbale Regional Referral Hospital as probe Vide CPS CRB 163/2020/Bududa continues.
