NEW TRICK: Thugs dig undergrown route, access house, rape woman before stealing electronics, Shs3.8m

The police in Kyotera have arrested two people to help in investigation into theft and rape of a woman and resident of Kakunyu village, Ndora, Kabira sub-county in Kyotera.

This incident, sources say, happened Wednesday morning.

“Unknown thugs gained access to a house after digging a channel in front of the door. Jumisa Mujubya, the victim’s husband was not around. Armed with machetes, they cut her on the forehead, raped her and made away with a TV, hoofers, recorder Startimes and cash worth Shs3.8m,” a security source said.

However, an analysis on the scene led to arrest of two people.

“The dog was introduced to the scene and it led us to two people who are now helping us in investigations,” a source added.

The police say the victim is at a Kyotera hospital for medication as investigations Vide CRB 146/2020.
