Cabinet Endorses Justice Kavuma, 4 others to Civil Aviation Board

Cabinet seating recently has approved the appointment of new members to the Board of Directors of Uganda Civil Aviation Authority.

ICT and National Guidance Minister, Judith Nabakooba confirmed this in a statement Monday.

According to Nabakooba; Hon. Justice Dr Steven Bk Kavuma, Moses Paul Lubowa, Ethel Kamba, Andrew Ocero and Thomas Kiggundu have been approved by cabinet as new members to the board while those reappointed to continue serving are; James Kubeketerya, Angela Kanyima and Moses Musayi.

This, after their recent appointments.

Worth noting is that UCAA mandated to coordinate and oversee Uganda’s aviation industry, including licensing, regulation, air search and rescue, air traffic control, ownership of airports and aerodromes, and Ugandan and international aviation law.
