

The construction of four workshops at Uganda Petroleum Institute, under the ARSDP Project has Tuesday kicked off at the Institute’s campus.
12.9bn is being invested to put up an electrical workshop, a welding and metal fabrication workshop, an Instrumentation lab and a mechanical workshop to meet the requirements of the new internationally adapted curricula that were recently developed under the project.
Hajj. Mukwatampola Muzamiru, the Assistant Commissioner, Higher Education in the Ministry of Education and Sports officiated at the handover of the sites for construction, on behalf of the Education Permanent Secretary.
These structures are scheduled for completion by February 2021. The ARSDP is a Government Project, implemented by the MoES with financial support from the World Bank.
