Kampala Quality primary school Kyebando opened its doors into the world of education on 8th/02/1999 with just 24 pencil thin pupils and has since evolved 25 years later to become one of the leading private schools in the country commanding a current pupil population of 1,250 and creating up to over 160 jobs.

Fr.Ambrose Ggombya from the Mary Mother of Divine Shepherd Mulagye parish Bamunanika in Luwero district who led the thanksgiving mass recently under the theme ‘A journey of 25 years, the beginning of a legacy’ urged government to deliberately extend more technical support to private schools given the enormous role they play of educating the country’s future generation leaders.
He pledged that the church which also owns hundreds of educational institutions across the country shall continue to engage the government in encouraging it to extend technical support to private schools largely among remote hard to reach areas.

Fr.Ggombya congratulated the school founding directors late Edward Kasisiri and wife Jennifer Kasisiri for choosing to invest their resources in education of the country’s citizens which is a wise decision.
Jennifer Kasisiri later handed over hefty gifts to their 160 former candidates. Among them, 133 scored different aggregates in Div 1 and 027 in Div 2. She urged them to remain disciplined as they upgrade for post primary education level.
