UCAA: Kasese Airport to be Upgraded to International Airport

Gen. Katumba Wamala, the Minister of Works and Transport yesterday signed an MoU with China State Engineering Construction Company to upgrade Kasese Airport to an International Airport.

The company will pre finance the construction of the project.

The company is to review the UCAA masterplan and then comeuppance with designs for the Airport. Once completed the project is expected to boost trade and tourism in the region.
