Kayima’s Father Dies

The father to ex-police spokesperson Emiliano Kayima is dead.

Alfonse Ngoboka, who has been sick for some time now, passed on this morning fron Nsambya Hospital in Kampala.

Details of the cause of death remain scanty.

Kayima, now the Officer in charge of Information and Publication in the Directorate of Chief Police Commissar confirmed in a text message to his colleagues.

“Friends. The old man, Alfonse has gone to meet the Lord. We shall organize and inform you the burial arrangements,” Kayima’s message reads.

Mzee Ngoboka’s passing on comes decades after he lost his wife.

His wife died in 1990 when his son Kayima was in Senior Two.

Ngoboka’s burial is expected to be at his home in Lwengo.
