MTN Advertises Deported Staff Positions

Telecom giant, MTN Uganda has advertised positions previously held by deported staff.

Positions of General Manager-Financial Services, General Manager-Sales and Distribution, General Manager-Enterprise Business Unit, Chief Marketing Officer and General Manager-Risk and Compliance have been put up for grabs in the Daily Monitor.

Coming barely a month after MTN Uganda Chief Executive Officer, Wim Vanhelleputte, Olivier Prentout, Elsa Mussolini and Annie Tabura were deported.

Prentout, Tabura and Mussolini held three of the positions advertised.

The trio was deported for allegedly compromising national security using their positions at the company.
