Defiant Besigye, Amuriat to comb Kalangala, Buvuma

Despite what the Opposition Forum for Democratic Change has termed as interruption in to their activities by the security forces, the FDC has released a roadmap for this week.

In a statement released Monday, the FDC said it will visit Kalangala and Buvuma between Wednesday and Friday.

“The FDC and People’s Government will visit Kalangala and Buvuma this week. We will begin with Kalangala on Wednesday and Buvuma on Friday,” the statement reads in part.

The FDC party also said it intends to return to Lugazi and Buikwe later.

This, they argue followed last week’s security raid on their meetings in Lugazi and Bukwe.

It remains to be seen whether security will resist the temptation of blocking FDC/Kizza Besigye meetings.
