Nsibambi to be buried at Anglican Church

Ex-premier, Prof. Apolo Nsibambi, is to be buried next Tuesday at Kasero Church of Uganda, Buloba in Wakiso District, his daughter, Juliet Kasujja has said. She said their father will be buried near their late mother.

Prof Nsibambi died ‘decently and peacefully’ Tuesday evening of cancer at his home in Bulange, Mengo, near Kampala.

According to Kasujja, Prof Nsimbambi’s body which is at Mengo Hospital mortuary is expected to lie in State at Parliament either Thursday or Friday.

Prayers will meanwhile be held every evening at Prof Nsibambi’s home until burial.
