On Saturday afternoon, Bob Collymore hosted a few friends out. Kenyan journalist and host of Jeff Koinange Live on Citizen TV, Jeff Koinange was among the deceased guests.
“He looked in pain,” Koinange narrated in a Citizen TV interview Monday morning adding, “He kept getting up to stretch.” As a friend, Koinange said he expected Collymore was not to last any longer. “A number of us had known this was coming…Bob had informed us. We knew he was not going to last very long. He had been told by his doctors not to make any long-term plans,” he said. “I have lived a good life…I have some regrets… it is not a perfect life but I am ready now,” Collymore is quoted to have told the Koinange’s.
Koinange said Collymore was ready for death. “I have never seen anyone more prepared for death I was with him this Saturday (29th June 2019) and he kept saying, I am ready now,” Koinange revealed.
Collymore’s death was announced Monday morning by the company’s Chairman, Nicholas Nganga.
The statement said Collymore died Monday at his home after a long battle with cancer.
