Kidnapped NGO boss confirmed dead

The police are trying to verify the identity of a lifeless body a female adult discovered Friday in Mukono district.
This after some people raised concern that it be of kidnapped Community Integrated Development Initiatives-CIDI employee, Maria Nagurunya.
Nagirinya was kidnapped on Wednesday night from her gate in Lungujja, Rubaga Division.
CCTV footage viewed by police on Thursday showed her captors taking Jinja Road and Kinawataka.
Kampala Metrpolitan Police spokesman, Patrick Onyango said he could not confirm whether or not the body is of Nagirinya. “We are verifying the body,” he said in a phone interview.
