Kidnapped NGO boss confirmed dead

Kidnapped employee of Community Integrated Development Initiatives-CIDI, Maria Nagirinya is dead.

Her death has been confirmed by her father, Francis Lubowa also CIDI Board Chair.  

This hours after a female lifeless body was recovered in the neighboring district of Mukono on Friday.

Nagirinya was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Wednesday night as she retired home.

CCTV footage earlier tracked her killers along Jinja Road and Kinawataka.

Her car registration number UBA 570V (Toyota spacio) was recovered Thursday morning from Nateete, a nearby suburb of Kampala.

The motive of her killing remains unknown.

The police are yet to issues an official statement on the matter.
