Mityana man strangled dead for assaulting his father

The police at the Central Police Station, Mityana are holding three people in connection to the murder of a one Musilamu Karimu, 45.

Sources say the deceased had earlier developed misunderstandings with Mahadi Semogerere, Mwanjuma Nataba and a one Shamimu and after a heated verbal argument over the assault of their father Dirisa Kuubo, something that caused him bodily harm Vide SD/5/1/9/2019 of Kiryokya.

The trio then went to Karimu’s neck, strangling him dead.

Regional Police Spokesperson, Norbert Ochom said, three people have been arrested to help in investigation.

Ochom said the deceased body is at Mityana Hospital pending postmortem as further inquiries Vide MTN/CRB/650/2019 continue.
