CURFEW: 211 Cars, 331 Motorcycles Impounded In Kampala

Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) has in a Monday night curfew enforcement operation impounded 211 cars and 331 motorcycles.

Drivers and riders were, however, cautioned while others were issued Express Penalty Scheme tickets.

According to KMP Spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, the operation was largely peaceful.

Onyango appealed to motorists to plan their journeys early enough so as to avoid being caught on the wrong side of the law.

The operation, Onyango said, continues tonight.
