Mukasa Charles Mulindwa the aspiring candidate for Mengo Parish in the central division has vowed to work with all stakeholders in ensuring that he lobbies council for strategic empowerment projects and programs for his people as well as protect the dozens of key Buganda kingdom properties currently housed within the parish.

Mukasa told this website during a new exclusive interview over the weekend that he was concerned that Mengo parish which is a key parish in the kingdom of Buganda must be governed or represented by a loyal son of the area for purposes for preserving the cultural heritage sites in the area as well as advocating for economic empowerment programs to foster development in the area.

He noted that the area houses the Bukitiko being the official residency for the katikiro, Lubaga division offices and other key sites.
He pointed out that Mengo parish deserves a better leader who understands the challenges the citizens encounter, especially fighting poverty through encouraging locals to participate in the government funded projects and programs.

Turning to education, Mukasa vowed to work with stakeholders in the education sector in ensuring that all children access education as mandated in the constitution of the country.
He pledged to lobby for strategic partnerships with investors to set up job creating projects such that youths in the area can get jobs to fight household poverty.
