Police put Shs5M bounty on Chinese national who escaped from custody

The police have put Shs5M bounty on Chinese national, Gao Yudong who escaped from Kololo Police Station between January 18, 2020 and February 12, 2020.

According to sources, Yudong entered Uganda from Beijing on January 17, 2020.

However, as soon as he landed at Entebbe International Airport, a RED notice was issued by INTERPOL Beijing.

It is then that he was arrested.

However, sources say he has escaped from custody leaving behind his passport, E43694653.

“He must be using forged or temporal travel documents,” Police spokesman, Fred Enanga said.

“Police appeals to whoever has an information which may lead to his arrest and prosecution to pass it in confidence to the nearest Police Station or call telephone numbers 0714667712 and 0750142999. A reward of 5 million shillings awaits.”
