Uganda Prisons has yet again recorded escape of prisoners.

This, at Muimet Government Prison in Bukwo district.

Well-placed sources say 11 inmates escaped at 11pm on July 12, 2020.

No details have been provided of what exactly happened.

However, the escapees have been identified as Ivan Kipto, Deus Kapyeko, Calphus Cherop, Fred Kwemoi, Siuls Cheptoris, Laban Kamoria, Dan Chemutai, Philemon Kwemoi, Sande Kibet, Joel Mongusho, Cornel Mande and Summy Aliwa.

Uganda Prisons is yet to formally comment on the escape.

However, the matter has been registered at Bukwo Police Station Vide SD 5/13/2020.
