UPPC BOOSTS ENTEBBE POLICE WITH ITEMS IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Following the closure of Naguru police Headquarters and revelation by AIGP-Asan Kasingye that he tested Positive for COVID-19 yet his driver resides in Entebbe police barracks, the Uganda Printing and publishing
Corporation (UPPC), has today boosted Entebbe police with some relief
items to help in the fight against COVID-19 or corona virus pandemic.
The donated items include boxes of sanitizers, face masks, colored printer and thermometer temperature gun.

While handing over the donated items to Entebbe police, Tom Davis Waswa, the Managing Director (MD) Uganda Printing and publishing Corporation (UPPC), said the donation is part of social corporate responsibility to the community aimed at fighting the surging cases of Corona virus in the country.
“We are thankful to the services of Uganda police force. The donated
items will help the police in the fight against the spread of COVID-19
pandemic.

Victoria Namuwonge, the sales and marketing manager at UPPC, said that
the corporation was compelled to donate to Entebbe police because of the overwhelming number of people who frequent the station on daily
basis.
“We believe the donated items will minimize shortage of sanitizers at
Entebbe police.

Micheal Kasigire, the Entebbe Division police commander (DPC) expressed gratitude towards the donation and hailed management of UPPC for its generosity.
“Am happy to receive these items. We have been having one printer with
mechanical issues but this new printer will help to expedite
stationery work at the station.
