14-Year-Old Kidnapped While Collecting Firewood Found Raped, Murdered

A 14-year-old (name withheld for professional reasons) and a primary six pupil of Masira Primary School in Bulambuli is dead.

The deceased, a resident of Highway Village, Mayiyi Parish in Bumugibore Sub-County had on June 13, 2020 moved to the forest to collect firewood with five other her friends when she was kidnaped by unknown people.

Her colleagues say they had firewood on their head, only to hear the deceased scream for help. She had been grabbed. They scattered.

It is then that the escapees alerted the deceased father, Godfrey Wozobi, 40, and a matter Vide CRB 371/2020 opened up at the Central Police Station, Bulambuli for investigation.
