2 year old boy dies in septic tank

The police are investigating circumstances under which a 2-year-old boy died in a septic tank Tuesday.

The incident in which Abdul-Rahman Medei died happened at Nalado village in Budaka Town in Budaka District.

He is said to have slipped into a septic tank, 10 feet deep.

The deceased had reportedly gone to play at the neighborhood with his friends, when the incident happened.

Deputy Criminal investigation officer, Budaka Central Police Station, Moses Bavekuno, confirmed the incident, and said that the body had been handed over to the parents and relatives for burial.
