30.000 Emyooga Beneficiaries to Attend  Museveni’s  Final Campaign Rally

The NRM political party strategists have launched   a deliberate effort to mobilize a 30,000 strong army of Emyooga beneficiaries from within the greater Kampala Metropolitan region   that shall grace the final campaign rally for their presidential candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni  in appreciation of his visionary leadership.

The remarks were 9th December 2025 made by the Kampala Metropolitan Emyooga SACCO leaders presidential mobilization team   chairperson Richard Tumwebaze while launching the 104  Kawempe division Emyooga SACCOs leaders  task force with deliberate mandate to canvass votes for their NRM presidential candidate re-election bid 2026.

The ceremony which took place at Kawempe Ttuula was attended by all the 104 different SACCOs leaders who discussed strategies of how best to drive forward their mandate of hunting votes for their presidential candidate currently seeking his 7th term mandate at the state house whose judgment day shall fall January 15th 2026. 

Luyombya Rebecca Christine Wanyana one of the key beneficiaries of the Emyooga program also doubling as chairperson Kawempe north Tailors ‘C’ Emyooga SACCO and NRM aspirant for the Kawempe 1 parish division woman councilor testified that they have utilized well their two Emyooga grants from the Microfinance support centre which has yielded tremendous positive results and welcomes the new increased funding package which shall boost their financial status.

Turyahebwe Benon the chairperson    Mulago 3 parish ‘B’ Emyooga boda boda SACCO said they used the funds to buy boda  bodas and also disbursed loans to members which development has greatly improved their incomes vowing to mobilize his members to canvass votes for Museveni  in  appreciation of this rare gesture of good will.

Tumwebaze told the excited crowds that the government would soon double the Emyooga funds disbursement drive by Uganda Microfinance support centre [MSC] from UGX 50m to UGX100m per SACCO of which development aims to widen the disbursement coverage ring targeting those members that missed out.

He noted that as head of the central region Emyooga coordination desk covering the regions of Busoga, Masaka  and Kampala Metropolitan area with the later  covering the districts of  Wakiso, Mukono, Mpigi, Luwero Buikwe and KCCA respectively, his mandate was to deliver election victory for Museveni  through the  Emyooga vehicle respectively.  

He highlighted that so far the Emyooga implementation program has benefited many households   listing the heavily populated divisions covered so far including Nakawa with 900 beneficiaries,  Kasangati town council  1,000, Makindye 800, Kampala central 1,200, Lubaga 600, Wakiso town council 1,200 and now Kawempe division  600 respectively.

He urged all their Emyooga  beneficiaries across the country to appreciate the president by turning up in large numbers  and vote  for candidate Museveni come 15th January 2026
