The police have kicked off a hunt for a trailer driver over reckless driving that led to the death of four people last evening.
The unidentified driver was driver a Benz Actors registration number KBN 168A/ZC along the Juba Gulu road when he knocked occupants of a Bajaj Boxer registration number UEN 098U.
Richard Kidega, Kenneth Okello, Geoffrey Ongom and Walter Ongwech, all residents of Orwongu Village, Parwacha in Atiak Sub-County in Amuru district died on spot.
Regional Police spokesman Jimmy Patrick Okema confirmed the incident.
Whereas the scene was visited last evening, Okema said plans to reconstruct the scene are underway.
He noted that bodies of the victims are at Atiak Health Center IV for postmortem as while the trailer and the motorbike are parked at Lamogi Police Post awaiting an IOV inspection.
