A matter of sudden death by drowning has been recorded at the Central Police Station, Kassanda.
A one Mike, 8, a son to Jason Lutalo reportedly went swimming at a dam at Lwamagembe LCI, Kiganda Sub-County in Kassanda district.
His body was however later found floating on the water by the area LCI Chairperson, Bosco Lumbu who then reported the matter to Police last night.
Regional Police spokesperson Norbert Ochom has confirmed the matter.
He said efforts to retrieve the body was underway and that a postmortem would be carried out after retrieving the body.
“Preliminary finding shows that the minor had gone to swim. However, our inquiries that will be informed by the postmortem report is ongoing,” Ochom said.
