A dialogue connecting Africa’s most influential and key business leaders, high-level SME Operators, Investors, Bankers and Policy Makers on the same platform is planned for February 27, 2020 at Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
The dialogue expected to attract hundreds of participants, will be held under the Theme: ‘Digital Innovation & Corporate Governance for SMEs Growth in the New Market Frontier.’
The 2020 Summit will address four highly strategically focused discussion groups on, SMEs Growth and Digital Innovation, Relevance of Corporate Governance in SME Growth in Emerging Markets, The Future of Women in Leadership and FDIs and Africa’s Investment Drive dialogue, according to Shenina Aheebwa ,Summit Hostess.
There will also be a keynote address on Africa’s Economic Outlook and the digitization of the future Economy which will be delivered Abdoulie Janneh, former UN Under Secretary-General and Executive Secretary – UN Economic Commission for Africa, UNECA and Executive Director of Mo Ibrahim Foundation.
Organisers of the summit say there is no doubt that the world of business and Corporate governance is at the threshold of major transformation driven by numerous emerging innovations and technologies including artificial intelligence and automation technologies. “These innovations are profoundly altering the cultures and governance of giant institutions leading to fundamental transformations in jobs, skills, employment, education and business models all around the globe. As a result, human lives are being shaken to the core by these technological advancements with the technology revolution transforming businesses as never before,” they say.
