KABALAGALA POLICE DIVISION is holding 10 people following a night operation at Bunga Sunday night.
According to police, an intelligence-led operation followed complaints of thuggery in the area. It is then that an operation was conducted, leading to 10 suspects.
A search at their homes led to 25 mobile phones, pangas, toy guns, suspected stolen bags, motor cycle and other items. Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy Kampala metropolitan Police spokesman said the suspects are to be charged with aggravated robbery.
NAGURU
Similarly, an operation carried out Sunday night around Naguru Go Down led to arrest of 19 people in connection to the robberies in the area.
37 of Paul Kisoro-led gang have been arrested and detained at Jinja Road Police Station.
The police say a Pistol, Long torch, a decoder device and four suspected stolen mattresses were recovered.
They are to be charged with aggravated robbery.
