KYEGEGWA: Man Chops off Uncle’s head

The police at the Central Police Station, Kyegegwa has in custody Edward Bitekerezo, 27,  accused of chopping off his uncle’s head accusing of being a witch and after his family.

The incident in which the suspect murdered Patrick Asaba, 57, murdered was murder happened at 6pm Sunday at  Kikurungu Village, Kyatega Parish, Kakabara Sub-County, Kyegegwa District.

“After chopping, he put his uncle’s head in a polythene bag and handed himself to police,” an eyewitness said.

This, on suspicion that his was uncle was trading in witchcraft.

The police say the deceased body is at Kyegegwa Health Centre IV for postmortem. The matter is being probed Vide Ref CRB 255/2020 MURDER/Kyegegwa.
