Uganda has confirmed five new cases of COVID-19.
This, after 1,498 samples of truck drivers tested May 10, 2020.
Of these, five turned out positive.
The new cases are: 2 Ugandan and 3 Kenyan truck drivers who arrived via Elegu and Malaba Points of Entry.
This now brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 121 in Uganda.
However, according to the Ministry of Health, 341 Community samples tested negative for COVID-19 putting total number of samples tested at the Virus Institute a day ago at 1,839.
