Mwizi Police Station has in custody Nathan Niwanoa, 26, for rape.
It is alleged that on the morning of May 6, 2020, at Kikonkoma central cell, Kikonkoma Ward, Kabura Town Council, Rwampara District, Vangilista Timbisimirwa, 80, was attacked by Niwanoa who broke into her house before forcing her into uncongenial sex.
“The suspect forcefully broke into the victim’s house and found her on the bed and immediately undressed the victim raped her and threatened to kill her and after he escapes from the village if she was not to accept having sexual intercourse with him,” a source at Mwizi told this news site.
Against the above background, the matter was reported at Mwizi Police Station.
To this, Niwanoa has been arrested Vide CRB 19/20 for rape.
