The flag bearer for Bukoto south constituency in Lwengo district Dr,Muyanja Mbabali has pledged to bring about more economic empowerment programs and projects for his people with the aim of uplifting them from the trench of abject poverty which remains the biggest challenge faced across the country.
Mbabali told this website during an exclusive interview in Kampala yesterday that he was seeking the mandate from his people of Bukoto south constituency such that he can unleash the projects and programs that he has secured from his friends abroad.
Mbabali, a staunch supporter of President Yoweri Museveni and long-time NRM mobiliser, has remained active in Lwengo politics through community development initiatives, particularly in education and road infrastructure.
Following his victory, Mbabali thanked his supporters for standing by him and promised to work toward inclusive development in Bukoto South saying that desp[ite having been ejected from the same seat by Twaha Kagabo of NUP/NRM, he would uplift the livelihoods of all his people without desecremination.
He pledged to ensure that the social services sector was improved, especially improving on the education standards, healthcare, clean water and defending the rights of land owners among others.
