Indians Survive Lynching In Buikwe Over Land, Held

The police at Ngogwe Police Station are holding three Indian nationals over criminal trespass.

Alisgar Dharmal, Murtaza Hussain and Huzefa Kachwala had on January 31, 2019 gone to Nachyole village, Ngogwe in Buikwe district with David Mabe to inspect a piece of land in the area.

However, The Second Opinion has understood that their visit was not known the Alpha Ssebuguluse, the land owner.

It is against the above background that locals rose up against them, beating Mabe to near death.

To their luck however, the police were nearby and went to their rescue.

Regional Police spokesperson, Hellen Butoto confirmed the incident.

She said inquiries Vide SD ref 13/31/01/2019 is ongoing as they ready to parade the suspects before the courts of law.
