American, Ugandan Driver Kidnapped at National Park

The America identified as Kimberley Sue Endecott was kidnapped last evening along with his Ugandan driver, Jean Paul Mirengo Remezo.

The incident happened near Katoke Gate in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Five other tourists were abandoned unhurt.

Government spokesman, Ofwono Opondo confirmed the abduction.

He said a joint operation by the Police, Uganda Peoples Defense Forces and Uganda Wildlife Authority Game Wardens are underway, trying to locate where the captors are so as to rescue victims of the said abduction.
