Missing IHK doctor confirmed dead, guard arrested

Dr. Catherine Agaba’s body was retrieved earlier today from a septic tank at a Muyenga apartment.

Ronald Rubangakene has been arrested to help in investigation.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango confirmed both incidents.

Rubangakene is said to have confessed to killing Agaba before dumping her body in a septic tank.

It is not clear on whose orders Rubangakene acted on.

However, an estranged boyfriend to the deceased identified as Andrew Ntambi, a Ugandan doctor based in the US is also in custody.

Rubanagakene is currently detained at Kabalagala Police Division while Agaba’s body is in Mulago for postmortem.
