Three people have been arrested for inciting violence Vide SD Ref 33/18/9/2019.
Well-placed sources say Musa Kalanzi, Ibrahim Muhumuza and Hakim Kyosaba were arrested Wednesday and are being detained at the Central Police Station, Hoima.
This after supporters of FDC’s Asinansi Nyakato organized themselves to meet RDC accusing him to have denied them a chance to campaign through the two famous local radios; Spice FM and Radio Liberty.
Sources say the RDC was not in office at the time, something that prompted an ‘unlawful’ demonstrations.
Police report however shows that campaigns are currently running smoothly with unavoidable challenges emanating from ideological differences.
Hoima District Woman MP seat fell vacant after creation of Kikuube district.
Hoima goes to polls on September 29, 2019.
