AIGP Bamunoba Engages Officers, Spouses in Kigezi

The Chief Political Commissar of the Uganda Police Force, AIGP Ubaldo Bamunoba, has met police personnel and their spouses from the Kigezi Region as part of an ongoing official tour.

The meeting, held at Kabale Rukiko Hall, is aimed at assessing the working relationship between the police and the public, as well as the welfare of officers and their families. It also seeks to evaluate whether personnel are benefiting from government household income programmes.

During the engagement, AIGP Bamunoba conveyed a message of appreciation from the Inspector General of Police to officers for their role in the recently concluded higher-level elections.

He commended the personnel for their resilience and patriotism, and urged them to maintain the same level of commitment as the country prepares for the upcoming lower-level council elections.
