The Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Jinja has said former Forum for Democratic Change President, Col. RTD. Kizza Besigye is not wanted in Jinja.
In an interview with NBS TV Thursday afternoon, Eric Sakwa said each time Besigye visits Jinja, there is chaos, arguing it is on the basis of chaos that Besigye was arrest Wednesday at Sunset Hotel and detained at Nalufenya Police Station.
To this he said Besigye is an unwanted Visitor in Jinja.
BESIGYE ROARS
Tweeting late Wednesday night, Besigye vowed to return to Jinja.
“Am safely home from Jinja, where I spent Tues night. Police/ military took over the hotel at night. I was able to get to my car; its tyre got punctured; & was towed to Nalufenya Station. I thank Jinja people for protest against Police. We shall return till our Rights are upheld!”
