Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has been slapped with two charges.
The charges include; illegal assembly and procession.
Police spokesperson Fred Enanga has confirmed that the new charges follow Bobi Wine’s earlier arrested.
“He faces additional charges of holding an illegal assembly and procession, after he was accused of organizing his supporters to escort him along the way,” Enanga said.
Bobi Wine was arrested at 11am at Mulago round about as headed to the CID headquarters to record statement.
He is currently being detained at Nagalama Police Division in Mukono district.
