Comedian Mark Agaba best known as Uncle Mark is Uganda Christian University Guild President elect.
Details of the winning margin remains scanty.
In a tweet Monday evening, UCU confirmed Agaba’s election.
“Mark Agaba is the newly elected Guild President of UCU Kampala campus,” UCU tweeted.
This was followed by congratulatory messages that continue to pour on his social media walls.
Those to have congratulated him so far include fellow comedian Patrick Idringi Salvador.
Agaba, a first year student of Social Work and Social Administration at UCU Kampala Campus rose to the limelight following NBS’ The Comic concept that aired on live TV.
The concept, whereas he did not win, later gave him opportunities for to appear on platforms such as Comedicine and Just Comedy among others.
