There is an unease at Parliament of Uganda after it emerged a female lawmaker and a member of the COVID-19 taskforce is positive of the virus.

These details have been provided in a WhatsApp group chat by Aruu County MP, Odonga Otto.
“I have just been tipped to get out of parliament that Ugandan female MP test positive for Corona Virus…the information should be made public why are they hiding it. She was In parliament yesterday,” Odonga wrote.
Odonga alleges, her details have been erased from Parliament website and that the matter is being treated as very confidential information.

To this, Odonga is now demanding for an outcome of Parliament on the matter, as he worries, her contacts could be all over the house.
Parliament is yet to formally comment of Odonga’s allegation.
By press time, Uganda’s COVID-19 had clocked 1,043.
