Goons Rape 84-Year Old Woman, One Arrested

The police at Kakindu Police Station are hunting for more suspects in a case of rape Vide CRB 28/2019 of Kakindu.

Deziranta Nakazi, a resident of Malwa Village in Kakindu Town Board, Kakindu Sub County in Mityana district was reportedly raped by unknown people who broke in to her house at 3am on Sunday morning.

They then dragged her out of the house before rapping her.

She was abandoned in her compound.

Regional Police spokesman confirmed the matter saying it is currently under investigation.

He also confirmed arrest of one person identified as Posiano Bossa.

Bossa, a resident of Kanyogoga was arrested by the help of police dog.

He is currently being detained at Kakindu as investigation in to the matter continues.
