

Handcuffed Prisoner

On July 3, 2020 at about midday, a case of sodomy (an unnatural offence) was reported at Golo Police Post.
This, involving a fisherman named Kasim Mukwaya and an 11-year old, a pupil of Golo Progressive Primary School.
According to a police statement this news site has seen, the incident happened on July 1, 2020 at Busera Village, Nkozi sub-county, Mpigi district.
“Mukwaya went to the victim’s home and requested the boys mother to allow her son go fishing with him at night in L.Victoria,” a source said, “At 6pm, Mukwaya went and picked the victim and went with him at his home. On reaching at home the suspect told the victim that it was not yet time to go in the lake and advised that they first sleep. Both the suspect and the victim entered the house and slept. While in the house, the suspect sodomized the victim.”
Investigators say the victim walked out of the house and proceeded to their home and informed his mother about the matter.
It is then that the victim’s mother reported the matter to the LCI of the area and later, Golo Police Station.
In the process, sources Mukwaya was arrested and is currently being held at Kayabwe Police Station Vide CRB 093/2020
