In a letter dated March 25, 2019, Goddy Otto described the incident as unprofessional and inappropriate, admitting he takes full responsibility.
“I was not given any authority and it was not suitable for me to use the hospital vehicle to carry bricks with it. I would like to apologize and offer my utmost regret for the unprofessional and inappropriate behavior I exhibited on that day,” the letter reads in part.
Otto therefore asked that he be forgiven.
“I am sincerely sorry about my behavior as there is no excuse and I will take 100% full responsibility for my actions and I hope that you can forgive me for my lapse in professional conduct. I assure you that it will not happen again,” the latter copied to the Omoro District LCV boss, Resident District Commissioner and District Health Officer, reads.
Recently, photos of an ambulance registration number UG 3506M made rounds on social media after it was loaded with bricks and on March 22, 2019, district authorities wrote to him demanding an explanation.
Unconfirmed reports show that Otto has been interdicted.
