Kampala Capital City Authority education officer, Kulthum Nabunya Muzaata has today donated a Holy Quran to Amka Foundation Community Library, a facility operated by Amka Foundation Africa, a non-governmental organization operating in Kasubi, Rubaga Division.
This after her recent visit to the organization headquarters in which she learnt that the facility lacked the Quran.
It was then that she pledged to donate one.
”In this month of Ramadan, i felt it was essential to share something for the spiritual life of our Muslim sisters learning a skill at Amka Foundation. It is crucial that we always sharpen the understanding of our religions and it’s why I feel the need to share the Holy Quran with you. Share it with those who need it,” she said while handing over the donation to Zabib Ayikoru, the Islamic religious student leader at her offices in Kampala.
