Amidst cheers from mourners, Junior Water Minister, Ronald Kibuule told mourners Wednesday that he had resumed bedroom duties in a bid to replace deceased twins.
Kibuule was directly facing Chief Mourner, Vice President Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi when he said he had gone back to the field to replace deceased twins.
He specifically told Ssekandi to tell President Yoweri Museveni that he (Kibuule) had gone against his (President’s) of not ‘making’ more children.
“Please Mr. Vice President, tell the President that despite his advice, I am going back to the field to replace the twins. He told me not to get more kids after these twins but they are now gone, tell him I have started warming up to replace them. I am already in the field,” he said, as quoted by online news site, The Nile Post.
The Mukono North lawmaker had reportedly been advised by the President not to ‘make’ more children but Kibuule said he was going against the advice of President Yoweri Museveni.
His twins drowned early this week in a family swimming pool and were laid to rest at Mbalala, Mukono midweek.
His twins were the 9th in the family, with the minister already having seven children.
