Kisoro lawyer killing: Police say crime scene tampered with by family

The police have kicked off investigation into the killing of Kisoro District based Lawyer, Isaac Sendegeya who was shot dead by unknown assailants at his door way at 2am Sunday morning.

The incident happened at Nturo village, Chihe parish in Nyakinama Sub County, Kisoro District.

However, upon responding to the scene, the police say the crime scene was already tampered with by relatives who moved his body to the leaving room.

One cartridge was recovered at the scene.

Regional Police Spokesman, Elly Maate said the body is pending postmortem.
