Labor export bosses arrested over death of two in Kuwait

The State House Anti-Corruption Unit has arrested two officials attached to Spotlight International Recruitment Agency, a labor recruitment and export company.

In a statement, the Unit said Jim Mujuni, Company CEO Steven MUkasa and C. Tumuramye were arrested by CID officers attached to the Unit.

This, the Unit, explained followed death of two people; John Mujuzi and C. Bekalazi in Kuwait three months ago.

“They died in Kuwait under unclear circumstances 3 months ago.

Attempts to have the bodies returned were futile until Anti-Corruption Unit intervened,” the statement released via Twitter said.
